In-person · Little Rock, ARElectrical safety training in Little Rock, AR
Little Rock is adding a riverfront industrial park, a jet completion center and two planned data center campuses to a grid run largely by Entergy Arkansas and the state's electric cooperatives. We train the electrical crews who build, energize and maintain those sites, at your facility or in an in-person class we set up in Little Rock when you ask.
Private employers in Arkansas are inspected by federal OSHA. Every class is live, on the 2027 edition of NFPA 70E, and taught by a Certified Safety Professional. Arkansas electrical safety training requirements →

Four ways to train your Little Rock crew
Crews we train in and around Little Rock: data center construction, port manufacturing, aerospace, military support, utilities and cooperatives, public employers.
What the class covers for Little Rock crews
Campus-scale data centers bring utility-class substations and medium-voltage switchgear onto private property. We cover approach boundaries, switching hazards and who owns which side of the clearance.
New pipe, trailer and logistics lines at the port are commissioned while neighboring buildings run. We teach how to establish an electrically safe work condition when construction and production share a feeder.
Completion and maintenance hangars run ground power, avionics test benches and large hangar distribution. We tie shock and arc flash risk assessment to the gear your technicians actually open.
Arkansas licenses electricians on NEC installation competence. We fill the safe work practice gap that license renewal does not cover, and document it for your qualification records.

Arkansas: what applies to your crews
Enforcement: federal OSHA
Arkansas has no OSHA state plan. A single federal OSHA area office in Little Rock covers all 79 counties. The state's AOSH program offers free consultation but does not enforce, and city, county and school employees have no OSHA coverage.
Licensing: state master and journeyman
The Board of Electrical Examiners in the Department of Labor and Licensing issues master, journeyman, residential, air conditioning and industrial maintenance electrician licenses and registers apprentices.
Where NFPA 70E fits
OSHA does not enforce NFPA 70E in Arkansas or anywhere else, but employers use it to show how they meet 1910 Subpart S and 1926 Subpart K, and OSHA can cite the General Duty Clause when a recognized electrical hazard is left uncontrolled.
Little Rock's electrical work environment
The Port of Little Rock is the busiest industrial address in Central Arkansas. Welspun Tubular makes large-diameter line pipe there and announced a $100 million upgrade in 2024, Faymonville Group is building its first U.S. heavy-load trailer plant, and Amazon started a logistics building of more than 930,000 square feet in July 2025. The port also bought land for an 875-acre megasite in 2025.
Data center work is arriving in two places at once. AVAIO Digital announced a 760-acre campus off 145th Street in January 2026, with 150 MW under contract and a stated path toward 1 GW. Filings at the port show a roughly $1 billion project with five industrial buildings and its own electrical substation, which local press reports tie to Google. The city board adopted data center rules in June 2026 instead of the moratorium some residents asked for.
Aerospace and defense round out the mix. Dassault Falcon Jet completes and services business jets at the Little Rock airport with about 1,400 workers and is adding 800 more under a 2023 expansion. Across the river in Jacksonville, the 19th Airlift Wing keeps the world's largest C-130 fleet flying.
